For the Animals
I didn't always know that I wanted to work with animals. I've always loved them - even as a child, I referred to our family pets as my brothers and sisters. But it wasn't until after college that I adopted my first dog, Loki, and realized this was my calling. I've worked at vet clinics, as a dog trainer, and in three different positions here at Greenhill Humane Society. I love coming to work every day knowing that I am making a difference, and working with an amazing team of people who strive every year to save thousands of lives.
I've seen from the inside how Greenhill and 1st Avenue go above and beyond in caring for these pets. The quality of medical care here is the level of care I provide for my own furry kiddos. The love and tendnerness that every staff member displays towards these animals is inspiring and amazing to see.
This year for Bark in the Park, my goal is to raise $300 so that we can continue to provide that incredible quality of care for these vulnerable pets.
