In honor of Willa
I LOVE ANIMALS - Seriously, I've dedicated my life and my career to caring for our community's most vulnerable members and being a voice for these animals. And this year I'm participating in Greenhill Humane Society's Virtual "Bark in the Park" in honor of Willa.
Willa was one of my very first Greenhill ambassa-dogs and she joined me at several community events beginning in 2013 when I joined the staff. Large breed dogs, including German Shepherds, often struggle to find the right fit in a home or a shelter environment. Here at Greenhill, we save lives. We provide compassion, respect, medical care and enrichment for thousands of animals each year. Last year, during a pandemic AND a local natural disaster, we cared for 18 different species and ran the shelter every single day of the year.
We also work with the community to provide resources, humane education to children and adults, and run a free pet food bank. We provide care for animals who experience domestic violence in their homes, whose guardians have gone to jail, have been admitted to the hospital, are displaced or housing insecure, or who have passed away.
Our team helps thousands of animals each year feel safe, healthy and loved. Willa will forever be my inspiration for this important work. Will you please help me honor Willa's memory by donating today? Every amount helps!
LOVE IS FREE but providing healthy food, safe shelter and medical care for thousands of animals each year takes money. Please consider helping us continue this very important work by donating to my Bark in the Park page today. Simply click the ”Donate Now” button on this page and you will be walked through an easy process to make your tax-deductible donation.
Thank you very much!
